RV's moved (to where, I don't remember right now). Wherever it was, we
woke there and took off right around midnight on our next segment, to
Pratt, KS. One of our squad members got sick on the drive over, so we
hit the road with just 3 racers. We stuck with our 6 mile pulls, and
spent an epic early morning racing 2 others teams in the Race Across
West Kansas (RAWK). We ended up smoking both of them. It was a great
night or racing with perfect temperatures, little wind, and
adversaries. Pure, hard, fun.
Sleep, and a change of venue brought us this evening to Yates Center,
KS. When we got up, we were all lethargic and tired. As Bandit was
coming in, we had some weather to deal with. Currently, we are moving
East (where else) at a steady clip - thunderstorms around, and we have
been through one already, and we expect more...all we have to do is
get through the next 10 hours...
